About Berkey PF-2 Filters

The purpose of the Berkey PF-2 filters is to eliminate fluoride, arsenic, and other dangerous pollutants from your existing Berkey filtering system. These filters enhance the filtration process by fitting underneath the Black Berkey components.

PF-2 Water Filter:-

In typical circumstances, it is advised that every pair of components be changed every 1,000 gallons. (because the Berkey Light®❏ holds 2.5 gallons, the filters must be changed after 400 refills). About every six months, Should be replaced if the system is refilled approximately twice a day, as opposed to once a year if it is refilled roughly once a day. The existence of additional competing pollutants in the source water affects actual capacity. Elevated heavy metals, fluoride, and arsenic concentrations can lower an element’s capacity and efficiency.
